Generally speaking it does depend on the type of registration.

If the property is new build or part of a larger title, it can take the Land Registry up to six months (although this is rare) to deal with the registration.

If the property is a resale then registration can take place almost instantaneously if the Land Registry receive confirmation that any previous mortgages or charges registered against the property have been discharged (removed).

It can take longer if there are requisitions (questions) raised by the Land Registry regarding the application.

If you have doubts about your registration the Land Registry will be able to assist with any concerns that you may have.
