Employment question:

I have taken out a grievance against my line manager for bullying and harassment, the case has been going on for some time , I had been off sick and informed the company that I was ready to return and have the grievance heard. This was stated on 31/08/12. Eventually after a month I made contact again and my grievance was finally heard on 05/10/12. The grievance manager told me as it was serious allegations and complex she would need more time than the usually 7 days and told me I would hear the outcome by the end of that month. On the 06/11/12 I was invited to go to a meeting to be told the outcome by the grievance manager, I attended the meeting and she went through her reply which basically has said that she does not uphold any part of my grievance, I was in shock and didn't ask any questions at that time, I was shocked as I had given a lot of evidence around my original complaint. I sat the next day and went through everything and have found that the grievance has not been in some questions answered fully and others completely omitted. I know I can appeal however I have asked for the grievance investigation notes first as the outcome letter reads very much like you said this your manager said that and I do not uphold your grievance but also that things could have been done differently which to my mind means my point should of been upheld. ER are refusing the grievance investigations notes saying they are internal only. I've contacted them and stated data protection 1998 and that acas guidelines about being transparent however they have responded saying put the point in the appeal. I feel that there are no investigations been carried out apart from talking to myself and my line manager, could you please help me with the direction I should go. I was thinking that I would now put in a personal data access form requesting all records held on me which will include the investigation notes! I really do believe that I am being treated differently and feel very distressed and unhappy
