Family and relationships question:

If someone has been divorced for 6 years, but the divorce has not fully settled due to money being required to be paid from pension on retirement, the person awaiting this money can still re-open the divorce case if within 6 years. Is it legal for that person to be entitled to money received post the initial divorce settlement? no children involved, no other contact between parties since divorce. Partner under fire is now re-married and retired, but opposition wanting more than what was agreed!
