Licensing question:

I work for a company that has a cafe bar in one building and a function bar in another. Both buildings are on the same site, owned and operated by the same license holder. Do we need seperate premises licences for each building, or should they both be covered under one licence fee.

The law is quite flexible on this point - it refers to "any place" being a premises and therefore qualifying for a licence. If both areas are joined, then there should be no reason why they cannot be under one licence. I have done this for many places and indeed the biggest licence I have obtained covers several square miles and a number of different buildings.
