Accident claims question:

I was involed in a RTA in feb 09 coming back from a skiing competition in germany, I was a back seat passenger in a military vehicle when the driver fell asleep at the wheel I ended up been thrown out of the vehicle, I suffered 3 broken vertebra's 1 shattered , 3 broken ribs, broken clavicle and cut the back of my head open, I am still undergoing treatment for my spine. I have been gettin advice by army legal but they have advised me to make a claim against the MOD to which they can not get involed with. I am now having problems at work regarding my medical state so just seeking some advise if you could help,

It seems to me that you probably should be making a claim against the driver, and if he was "at work" when the accident happened then that might also involve the MOD if they are the driver's employer.

There are complications if the accident happened abroad, but not so difficult that they can't be overcome.

I think you should really speak to a specialist in this type of claim. Most would almost certainly take it on a no win no fee but if the accident happened in February 2009 you really shouldn't delay getting p[roper advice. All countries have a time limit for bringing claims and you really don't want to miss the relevant date.
