If at the time of birth parents have settlement (or BC) then the child would automatically become a British Citizen. There are also circumstances that may allow for the registration of minors but these requirements would not apply to you as you are now an adult.

Depending on the nature of your dependency and the relationship you have with your parents you could try to make an application to remain in the UK on the basis of your right to family life (under Article 8 Human Rights.) This is not a straightforward application and the ins and outs in terms of the evidence you would need to include are lengthy and can only be properly advised on a specific case by case basis.

There may be other categories or applications you could make and you should discuss your options with a solicitor. As an overstayer you may be subject to detention and removal from the UK at anytime and you are therefore advised to seek advice as soon as you can.
