Medical claims question:

My daughter has been on Yasmin for around 1yr. she is now in hospital with a blood clot on the lung. She also has an exisiting blood disorder ITP. In the hospital she was has been given 2 injections of warfarin to thin her blood which is not recommend with ITP. Does she have a claim and who with?

Without knowing more detail , it is difficult to say if your daughter has a claim or not.
A clinician has to decide on a course of action , weighing up the risk / benefit analysis of any medication especially one that might be contra indicated.
If there is a claim it is likely to be against the Trust , who has legal responsibility for the Hospital where your daughter is being treated.
Assuming your daughter is under 18 , she will have until her 21st birthday to bring a claim.
